At Good Shepherd, we believe that God welcomes everyone- and that really means everyone! Founded in 1954, we are an intergenerational church with a belief that we are led by God to love our community.

Whether you’re a one time visitor, a long-time member, or somewhere in between, our hope is that all people feel invited to come as they are to worship and grow in faith together.

Worship

We worship every Sunday morning at 10:00 am. The worship style changes week to week, so you will find a mix of traditional hymns, contemporary praise songs, gospel music, and even the occasional bluegrass-style worship service.

September through April, we also offer Wednesday night worship at 6:30 pm. Come at 5:45 pm for a community meal, and stay afterwards for youth programming, choir rehearsal, or small group gatherings!

At Good Shepherd, we practice an open communion table. This means that we welcome anyone of any age or background who would like to take communion to do so.

Good Shepherd is a church in the Minneapolis Area Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).
